Step by Step

What’s involved in designing and ordering a kitchen?

Here’s our step-by-step process:

1st meeting: The initial design consultation is scheduled first. This in-person meeting will cover ideas for your design concept and can take place either onsite or if you have plans, at the PCK showroom.

2nd meeting: This meeting is at the PCK showroom with your designer, where you will review and discuss PCK's design proposal, material options, and the costings involved for your project.

When you are ready to proceed with PCK.

A $300 holding deposit is required to secure your job. This amount will be deducted from your 10% deposit once your contract is prepared.

Next step after placing your holding deposit.

3rd meeting: The purpose of this meeting is to finalise details regarding your plan, colour selections, materials, and finishes. This can be accomplished via email, phone call, or in-person consultation at our showroom.

Optional Interior Design service meeting: 

Eliesha Keenan, an award-winning Interior Designer  @ Paiano Design, offers a 90-minute Foundations Session for $395 (normally $695) exclusively for PCK clients.

During this meeting Eliesha will present you with a variety of options in materials and colours, allowing you to make confident choices for all your selections required for to finalise your contracts and specification sheets.

Please note: Changes in material selections during the planning stages may affect costs.

4th meeting: This meeting at the PCK showroom is for signing contracts and specifications sheets. All parties have agreed on the design, colours, materials, approximate timeframe of work, and your contracts and specifications sheet have been signed. Payment of the remaining 10% deposit balance is now required.

After placing your order, a check measure will be scheduled. Our office will contact you to arrange the check measure, and upon its completion, your final plans will be issued.
